Well, actually it's much later but that's ok. I did a lot more walking than I should have.  As soon as I got on the trail I noticed shooting pains in my knee!  They did not go away. I gimped my way to and across the Benson plateau and then started the very painful 4000 foot descent to the Gorge. It was getting quite warm down there and the poison oak was in full bloom. Yay!  Too many day hikers too. My incredible wife was at the parking area waiting for me. :-).
