The wife and I went out to the coast today. I was finally able to finish off that last skipped section at Salishan spit. Parked at the end of Laurel Street in Gleneden Beach and walked out to the end of the spit.
Brenda collected quite a few agates along the way. We started about four hours prior to a minus tide and there was plenty of beach this time.
It was mostly overcast and maybe 50° with a cool breeze at our backs. Quite a few seals relaxing at the tip of the spit. We hiked some inland
roads on the way back and some beach too.
Afterward we stopped at Fogarty Creek State Park and discovered a secret skunk cabbage trail.
Awesome!
