I went back out to the coast today. It was a little cloudy this morning so it stayed above freezing for the drive down to Depoe Bay. It was actually in the mid 50s when I got there around 11:30 and hazy sunshine. Perfect day.
Took the bus down to Otter Rock and started hiking back after checking out the Devils Punch bowl. Not much going on there but the walk north along Otter Crest Road was quite nice. The road was quiet and the views were great. No wind. Saw some big groups of seals basking at whale Cove. Took just under three hours.
Only have the Salishan spit left to close all the gaps.
