8:00 p.m. Well, the weather was not good in the morning. In fact, the wind kept up all night and into the morning. Of course, that kept me up most of the night. I knew I wouldn't have the energy to do the 22 mile border run. I don't really care too much about the borders anyway. I wanted to make sure that I can make it to Rainy Pass before I run out of food or energy.
I camped in a nice little saddle about 3 miles north of Harts Pass. It's a nice spot that's thinly forested with Larch. The views are great to the north and south.
On to Harts Pass tomorrow to pick up some food and maybe dump some smelly trash. Looks like there's a long waterless stretch south of Harts. Maybe I can get some info.
