White Pass to Snoqualmie Pass

9:15 p.m. Round three of the PCT began today. Starting at White Pass this afternoon around 3 pm when my lovely wife dropped me off. Not too bad of a start, a little warm and kind of dusty, and horse poopy. The bugs weren't an issue until around Deer Lake. After Sand Lake I started into the pond zone and the mosquitoes got ugly! Bad enough that I couldn't take any breaks so I put in about 9 miles in 3.5 hours.

I'm camped in a crappy little opening in the woods about a mile short of Snow lake. Looks like the trail dries out in a couple more miles and I start in on some ridge walking. Hopefully fewer bugs.

Wish I was more excited about this walk.
