8:30 p.m. This night's camp spot is nothing like last night's.  No views and lots of mosquitos!  I'm camped in the woods just south of Chinidere mountain.

I actually climbed that mountain looking for a spot for the night after

backtracking out of the burn. I did not want to camp in the burn. The

dead trees were making lots of crackly noises as I was walking through there. So I did about 25 miles today which means I only have about 15 tomorrow! 

Covered a lot of ground today. The first half involved a lot of climbing and descending.  The second half involved a lot of fairly easy flat-ish hiking. I'm beat though. Would have loved to have camped at Indian mt.  The views were incredible and there were a few flat dirt patches. Problem was I was there before 3 pm and low on water.  So, I kept walking, and walking. Ready for bed.
