Cape Lookout State Park

At $8 per night, these are great hiker/biker campsites along the Oregon Coast Trail. While the area is open, individual sites are buffered by tall manzanita. Each site has a picnic table and close by is this great locker structure with benches and USB charging. Not far away is also a reservable, large covered picnic structure--given the park closes at dusk, one would expect on a rainy night, hikers could find a drier place there. Nearby, but not too nearby, are a number of rental cabins. The hiker sites are located near the beach in the Day Use area. This park also has several large, well-used official campground loops that include bath houses and a few rental yurts.
